Disney Cruise on Super Bowl Sunday
After just finishing our busy 7-night Southern Caribbean adventure, we are going to relax on this leg of the journey. We are heading to St. Thomas, Castaway Cay and some time at sea.
We are back on the ship and tradition is…photo by the Atrium Statue
We were so happy that our friends were doing the back-to-back with us. We have been having so much fun and spending more time with them was icing on the cake!
We went to our stateroom and it was all ready. We had another Castaway Club gift on the bed waiting for us because this was considered a new sailing and you get a gift each time. Once we complete this one, we will be Gold members. I packed up a few things that I knew we wouldn’t need anymore and that was going to save me time on the last day.
We always head to Cabana’s for lunch but today we all decided to try the sit-down option instead. Lunch was being served at Triton’s at 11:45am-1:30pm.
This was my lunch! Everyone loves those potatoes right? and even us adults get Mickey ketchup!
and dessert of course! I had the carrot cake and Kerry had the cheesecake
Beautiful view from our verandah…gorgeous day!
I love this view of the ship. Beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico
We went for a stroll on Deck 4. This is one of my favorite places on the ship
After being on the first sailing and going to the Spa raffle at Senses Spa, we didn’t know if we wanted to go again or not. Kerry said we should go, so we did! They give away some pretty decent prizes and according to Kerry, he was feeling lucky. We didn’t do the tour as we been there already this week a few times. We went to the gym area and waited for it to begin. First few prizes…no luck! Next was the big prize that everyone wants… a $100.00 Spa credit! “Deck 6” she announced. Ekkkk we were from Deck 6. “Kerry Roberts’ is the winner!!! Everyone clapped and he went off to claim his price. He was proud as a peacock! He gave me the certificate and told me to go book a hot stone massage. I told him he could book one for himself but he wouldn’t do it. We went to see Belle at the front desk and she was so excited that we won. She booked me in for my hot stone massage at the exact time that I wanted. I guess it pays to listen to your gut 🙂
After all the excitement at the Spa, we went to check out the sail away party. This party never gets old!
Strolling around and there are photo ops happening all the time
We headed back to our stateroom to get ready for tonight’s events! It was so nice sailing out of port today.
We headed down to the Atrium and of course we had a few pictures taken. I’m pretty sure the ship photographer’s would send out the search team if we didn’t show up every evening. Tonight I wanted to have my hair thrown back in a ponytail. For anyone who knows me, know how much I love my ponytail. I wanted some pictures of us…just being us!
“It was SUPER BOWL Sunday on the Disney Wonder”
It was game time! Super Bowl 52: Eagles vs. Patriots 7:30pm
There were a few options for viewing the game such as Crown & Fin Pub, Funnel Vision on deck 9, Promenade Lounge or in the comfort of your Stateroom. I’m not a football fan by no means, but I’m married to a sport fanatic and I also wanted to check out the party!
We headed to the Promenade Lounge and boy was there a party!
There was food galore and such an exciting atmosphere. The entertainment crew was doing an amazing job with trivia. I had to try the wings and they were soooo good!
Kerry was enjoying it
Bria’s teacher at school is a HUGE football fan so she wanted to get a picture with the cake to bring back to him.
Pluto is always fun!
After a fun filled day, it was time for dinner! Tonight we are back at Animator’s Palate.
Miss Bria ordered steak tonight
and of course she wasn’t allowed to cut it herself
Across the table, Andrew was cutting Maison’s. They decided to see who would be done first!
These guys were amazing! They spent so much time with the kids whether it was doing a trick or simply just having a chat! They always made them laugh!
Dessert anyone?
Well of course
Entertainment at it’s best
More tricks with the kids
Andrew decided they would make a big scene when we left the restaurant and he sure did! As we walked out, they clapped and cheered!
After Dinner, the kids went on their merry way and us adults went to Azure to watch the game show “Match your mate.” Jo from the entertainment crew is out of this world hilarious. She is the funniest person I’ve ever met. It was an amazing show!
and I tried out the drink of the day…Paradise Punch
Another amazing day in the books! We can stay on this ship forever. Off to bed we go!
on a second thought…let’s order room service! Everyone eats Mickey bars at midnight right?
I almost forgot…Eagles won the Super Bowl.
Good-night 🙂
